Earth Day Engineering SurveyingEarth Day is a Birthday! Just like a birthday is a special day to celebrate a person, Earth Day is a special day that celebrates the Earth. Earth Day was born on April 22, 1970, in San Francisco, California. Every year, America and over 100 different countries join in the celebration of Earth Day on April 22nd. Earth Day is the largest, most celebrated environmental event worldwide. On Earth Day, we remember to appreciate nature and learn ways to protect our environment.

The third planet from the sun celebrates its 44th Earth Day today, which marks the anniversary of the environmental movement set back in 1970.

PCI has long been preserving the environment and providing water quality services across the upper Midwest. We strongly value maintaining these limited resources at their highest quality to provide overall quality of life to our communities. We encourage you to celebrate Earth Day today by “going green,” practicing the three “R’s” (recycle, reduce, and reuse), and conserving water.

Find ways that you can help keep the planet clean and help protect our environment!
