Chief Engineering / Administrative Officer

Chief Engineering / Administrative Officer is needed for civil works projects for commercial, public, private and municipal clients. Sound technical leadership related to all aspects of a civil engineering business is required.  The position requires working well with regulatory agencies, clients and the public. Applicants should be self-motivated, enthusiastic and looking for a challenge. Qualified candidates must possess:

  • B. S. in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience in and knowledge of multiple aspects of civil engineering
  • Pennsylvania Professional Engineering License
  • Working knowledge of computers and AutoCAD, Civil 3D preferred
  • Experience in site/civil design including site planning, layout, grading, and drainage is desired
  • Familiarity with local municipal land use law is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work as a team leader
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Position requires work Monday through Friday with occasional evenings and weekends

Marketing Coordinator

Marketing Coordinator based in Berwick/Bloomsburg area. In this challenging and fast-paced role, you will be creating proposals, providing input and direction into marketing processes, assisting with advertising, creating relationships, designing graphic layouts, managing events, assisting with public relations and other marketing activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead all functions related to the production of proposals.
  • Initiate and conduct a creative process with internal and external clients to create marketing pieces.
  • Translate technical information to written form in a manner that is informative and easy to understand to the non-technical end user.
  • Identify and follow up on new project leads via multiple mediums including: newspapers, web sites, government documents, television, radio, etc.).
  • Initiate and assist with business development activities including: networking, calling, meeting with, and tracking new potential clients and existing clients.
  • Identify trade show opportunities and coordination, which includes staffing the booth, providing all necessary marketing materials, following up with leads, and compiling cost benefit analysis.
  • Assist with social media, assisting with decisions on the medium.
  • Perform the following marketing activities: press releases, web site, newsletters, direct mailing activities, social media, and other marketing materials.
  • Any other related duties as apparent or assigned.

 Job Requirements:

  • Five years of experience in the marketing department of a service organization (preferably for an NE/C firm).
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills working on proposals, presentation materials, press releases, and general business correspondence.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple tasks, complete assignments with limited supervision.
  • Experience including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to professionally edit and proofread all marketing materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to market for multiple divisions while maintaining corporate brand identity.
