Job Creation on the Horizon

The proposed 114-mile PennEast natural gas pipeline will originate in Dallas, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania and terminate at the Transco pipeline interconnection near Pennington, Mercer County, New Jersey.  It is estimated the design and construction phases will create more than 12,000 jobs and produce over $1.62 billion in economic stimulus. According to Econsult Solutions and Drexel University’s business school the design and construction phases would also create nearly $740 million in wages.
